1. Inspection Guidelines & Mechanism

To strengthen school monitoring and prioritize educational quality, 2% of teachers working in the state are exclusively deputed for school inspection, monitoring, and supervision across all districts.

• Current Target: Inspect all schools within jurisdiction once after reopening and conduct a follow-up visit to verify rectifications.
• Schedules: Inspecting Officers must submit Annual Tour Programme (ATP) in April, Monthly Tentative Tour Programme (MTP) well in advance, and submit reports online on a real-time basis by the 5th of the following month.
• Teacher-Pupil Ratio Context: Average TPR considered is 1:15.
